Joesie arrived at the sanctuary with her 6 month old daughter ‘Star’ and her old friend ‘Lucky’

Joesie was left starving to death and tied up on the roadside by travellers. An elderly man rescued them and took them to his shed where he discovered Joesie was pregnant and had to call a vet.

Joesie gave birth to her baby Star.  Joesie was unable to produce any milk due to her extremely poor health and condition so Star had to be bottle fed.

Joesie is extremely gentle and kind but due to her ill handling is still very nervous until she gets to know you. She is also very protective of Star and the best Mummy ever
