Adopt a donkey
Adopting a donkey is a very special and amazing way to help save a donkey’s life.
Our donkeys have all been rescued from a past of neglect, abandonment or pure cruelty. Help us to give these donkeys the safe environment that they can live out the rest of their days.
When you adopt one of our gentle and loving donkeys you will become part of their future and ensure that they are cared for and looked after as they deserve to be.
Please also adopt a donkey for a friend or relative as a gift so that they too can make a difference and be a part of this worthwhile cause.
When you adopt one of our donkeys you will receive the following by email:
- Certificate to confirm which donkey you have chosen to adopt (this certificate will be emailed to you and can be printed off immediately)
- A beautiful picture of your donkey
- A detailed story giving you the history and telling you about the unique character of your donkey
- Access to our Facebook Book page, telling you about your donkey and the other donkeys that live at The Belline Donkey Sanctuary. We will keep you up to date with interesting information and news about the sanctuary for you all to enjoy.

The cost to adopt a donkey is €35 for one year.
