This week we delivered beautiful Dolly to her new home where she will be very happy by the looks of it!☺Unlike most donkeys Dolly has been on her own since a foal and seems to be much happier in her own company….
Sadly ‘Buttons’ lost his fight for life….
Today our little Buttons lost his fight for life💔. Despite his illness,he lived each day to the max and is an example to us all…

Hi, I’m Buttons and I was rescued by Belline after my Mother was sold at Tallow Fair 💔and I was left tied to a tree…abandoned at 6 weeks old. I was in poor health and Belline wasn’t sure I would survive but after treatment from the Vet and constant care from the lovely people at Belline, I’m now doing really well…
URGENT RESCUE…..In desperate need of help 🙏🏻
We got a call a couple days ago about 4 donkeys that had been dumped in Castlecomber. The Donkey Sanctuary in Cork said they would not take them in as they are apparently full. We too are full to the max but could not say no as it was clear the donkeys were in a bad way (desperate feet and bloated bellies..obviously infected with worms).
They were left in a tiny field hidden down a lane,with no food or water. We are having their feet done tomorrow,as well as wormed,vaccinated and checked by vet. These four very sweet boys will then be looking for new forever homes (in twos only). Pls pm us if u can give any them a loving home or please donate a little something to help with the vet and vaccinations costs if you can. All three are adult Jacks and one is a yearling. So sad that yet again these sweet donks have been found abandoned.💔💔💔💔.
