Dark Brown Gelding/ 15 years old

Mossy was originally called ‘Molly’ by his owner as they thought he was a girl. When Mossy was surrendered, we quickly changed his name as we already had a Molly in the Sanctuary.

Mossy came from a loving family, but unfortunately due to a change in personal circumstances could no longer care for him.

He also came with a WARNING…as he could miraculously open any gate on the yard. We found out the hard way as we had many escapees, until we discovered the culprit and put extra ties to secure all the gates.

Mossy is a very sweet donkey and looks almost identical to ‘Freddie’ another resident donkey at the sanctuary.

Mossy would love adoptive parents to help support his life here at Belline.
